A statement-making series of Prohibition-era marketing events.
I led the art direction, design, and copywriting for a series of NJI Media events, including gold foil letterpressed invitations, a period newspaper, and various environmental signage applications.
From the start, I chose to avoid expected early 20th-century design cues, opting instead for a timeless, understated aesthetic accented by the subtle use of period ornamentation.
Our intent was to create an authentic visual point of view and narrative that would generate interest in each event while speaking to our capabilities and attention to detail as an agency.
